We are an independent company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia providing creative mental health and wellbeing services to adults and children.

We would like to help you create your own change, at home, work, socially or physically. We do this through partnering with you. At Imagine we see you as the expert of your own life. We will come alongside you with related knowledge and experience. We will listen to your story and understand how you see the problems you need help with. We will then create a plan together to meet your goals based on evidence of what works but also completely tailored to your situation and preferences.

Due to Covid-19 all initial appointments will be completed virtually via secure video or phone. In-person treatment services are possible where needed but there are some restrictions in place.

We offer creative therapy options as well as traditional talking therapies.

Occupational therapy can help you work on your goals for life. You might have mental health problems that are getting in the way of your home or work life. You might struggle with balancing roles and responsibilities or with self care. We will help you to break down the problem so that your goals are achievable; Living life in the way that is most meaningful to you.

Cognitive-behavioural therapy is a popular evidence-based talking therapy option we offer. Cognitive-behavioural therapy is easily adapted to work via video or secure messaging as well as in person.

Working on sensory processing can help with self-regulation, attention, behaviour and anxiety. This is especially relevant for children. We can also incorporate sensory processing strategies for adults as part of mental health treatment.

We offer nature-based work to clients who wish to explore the healing power of being outdoors.

Many people find the arts helpful for expression where words aren’t enough. We can incorporate creative arts into your therapy journey.
